How can an associate member edit information about my property?
There are two permissions you can set for an associate member on your property -
view
or
view and edit.
Just like it sounds, associates with the "view" permission can only see your property information while associates with "view and edit" permission can also update information. (We recommend you only share editing permissions with people you trust.)
Once logged into our FMI HomeAssist app from a desktop or mobile device:
-
Click on the
Account tab
in the bottom bar.
-
Select
Manage Associate Members
.
-
See what permissions your associate has, either:
"Access: View"
or
"Access: View And Edit."
-
Click on the associate member to change permissions.
-
Choose "
Change Permissions,
" and vipHomeLink will automatically switch the permission setting.
